easy way to tell an olds engine was they are gold in color except for early 60 stuff which was kinda bluish green--buick is red and pontiac is lite blue----studes were almost always kinda gold and amc was a green kinda color

17. I didn't read the full discription on the 348. Just seen the valve cover and punched in 409.... Doh! The older Corvette 327 got me. Sad, but true.

I did the same thing on the 348.Shoulda known about the 2X4 setup.Also confused the
second Stude engine with an early Ford Y block.Early stages of dementia.
