I run 1 1/2 to 2 quarts....it is a pretty large housing. I am sure it would be slightly faster with 1 but I am nervous about damage.

Thanks again to all ! I feel safer with the 2 Quarts, As it was said , better to be safe than sorry , besides I can't beat the FORDS, any way, but I'll keep trying !,,,,John
