Take your car to a real 4000 foot elevation track and see how slow in really goes. There is no real comparison between an actual altitude of 4000 feet, and what shows up on your Density Altitude calculator on a bad day in Maryland.

Your statement says more to prove that the factors were correct than it does to say they're bogus (which they were), and I think he actually went a 12.81
The new factors are a little tougher, as that same 12.81 run would factor to a 12.31 this year -- more than a tenth slower than he ran at the Winternationals last year.

315 HP on E/S record and D/S runs. So that's 3320 minimum in E/S & 3160 minimum in D/S. I don't usually carry a lot of extra ballast, maybe 25#'s or so.
When I first started racing the car it was a 325 HP rating.
