Back around 1990 or maybe 1991........

E-Town had a big $$$$ weekend scheduled. They ran a big dollar gamblers race on saturday along with other classes. S/G was also run for a good payout that weekend......The place was packed.....hundreds of cars.....Might have been a BRUSA race as that was a popular deal back then.....

Peter was driving a 10 second car for maybe the first time. The car, a black early Firebird, belonged to an old friend of mine from NY....They could not finish the race on saturday.......had to do it Sunday.......The last 3 rounds I heard Peter was .00x and he won. Vinny Napp bumped the purse because the car count was so high.......I think it was over $7000 to win. They ran another race on Sunday for a good purse......guess who won....Peter!!! He cleaned house that weekend.....

That was the first time I saw him do what he has been doing ever since....in any car he sits in......Racing Sam was no bargain either!!...LOL

Congratulations Peter......
