Concentrate on the job you're there to do. You can't make any real decisions until you get the car into high gear anyway. Contrary to popular belief, you're not racing the guy in the other lane, you're trying to put together a 100% perfect pass in your lane. The person who gets closest to it will turn on the win light. If that is you.... great, if it's your opponent, he's earned it.

Correct. Too many people worry about what's going on in the other lane instead of concentrating on improving their own performance. The last few feet mean nothing if you haven't done your job to that point.
