Nice car but good Lord, those slicks are ridiculously large! Is it really necessary to run more than a 14 x 32" tire on a less than state-of-the-art Hemi Super Stocker, especially a vintage one? I mean with all the traction availalble via the modern tire compounds, concrete track surface and liberal application of traction compound on it, you'd figure that would be more than enough tire.

Does anyone know if this was a 'real' Hemi Dart or not? Btw, check out the cigarette in Bob Reed's mouth. I don't think he could get away with that today in this Orwellian age of political correctness and authoritarianism.

I remember seeing the "Lil Super Cuda" .
Candy Red and gold leaf just like it's big brother.
The day I saw it at the track, it had a red primer, passenger side front fender.
I do not remember who drove it.

Back to my lurking corner.

The best photo of 'Lil Super Cuda' is in Larry Davis book.
Nice cherry red color.

Anybody ever see Al Baldwin's SS/B Hemi Cuda out of
Pineville, West Virginia.
Al had a car dealership their.

Car lettered 'Barbarian'

M68, yeah the rear tires on Cam's car were excessive. I tried buying that car in '99 and there were some serious concessions done to that car for speed regardless of originality, rear rails were relocated inboard for those huge slicks. Regardless a neat car with lots of western Canadian racing heritage. Somehow i ended up with a few of the leftovers from that car a while back. Sadly Cam passed away last year.

Maybe it's old age and bad eyes but doesn't the nose of the Bob Reed Dart look "drooped"?

The front-grille is not a GT, looks like a 270 grille.
But who cares at 135+ mph.

Vic,

On the 'Hair Bender' Barracuda, very likely it was shipped to
Ryan Plymouth in South Dakota.

Also, 'Bear-A-Cuda', after Freed Motor Company, it was then
sponsored by Fremont Dodge, out of Fremont, California.

Here's a few.
