Well day 1 of racing at the Gators is a rap as Rich South ended up #1 in SS -994 and Drew Skillman was #1 in Stock with a flag raising -1.192 run. Stock starts out in the morning with round one. It's neat to be with Rich and Ralph for our "Over the Hill Ohio Gang" tour and end up being #1 qualifier. Well we get a bye in round one and will race the winner of Wilson vs Heuwetter match up for round two. Ralphie is cooking supper, I'm working on stats. I'll try to post more tomorrow.
BTW we are in "Witness Protection mode" also with Rich's car |

Toby in the past a lot more have pushed a lot harder. With those conditions you should have had more cars a second or better under.
Now fear rules, very few will go and set records. I predict a lot will dump class to avoid the look.

Well, whatever the trigger point is people will try to stay under it. If it was 1.15, people would be going 1.14 under. If it was .90, people would be going .89 under etc ...
Same as it's always been since the AHFS was instituted. -Toby |

Here are some pictures of Stock at the scales. Tomorrow we are first out and its going to be a cold one. The temp is supposed to go down to 40, I'm guessing it will be about 50 when we run.
Here is an in car of Rusty Johnson and his 67 Fairlane and Dan Fletcher in his 69 SS Camaro. I'm still learning and trying to figure out what the best angles are. Tomorrow I hope to get helmet cam on Dan Fletcher in his stocker. http://classracer.com/classforum/vid...ls&videoid=131 http://classracer.com/classforum/vid...ls&videoid=132 |
