TK,
You are wasting your breath with these "Classy Racers". Most of these guys are so haredheaded they won't run IHRA races because Cratemoter Stockers are not real stockers. Definition of Stock/Super Stock: PERFORMANCE BASED DIAL-IN TYPE RACING. Similar to another type of racing called "BRACKET RACING" Differences include: More Rules, Heads up runs, Egos and attitudes. That being said I like heads up runs Gotta go installing a Throttle Stop on my dragster so I can slow down to run 175 mph. Chip JOhnson |

Tree and Chip you are ok, we have run super stock for 6 years now and have never had a heads up race, just played the ladder right or got lucky. But with Justins bracket racing background we have manage to win quite a few National and divsional events.
As a matter of fact I would bet the last 2 super stock national champions had no heads up either but the were able to bracket race good enough to be World Champions. With that being said, the chance of a heads-up race makes it fun trying to make our cars quick enough so that we do not embarass ourself, and it also makes it fun durning qual. to work out the ladder.
