Default Re: Solid Motor Mounts - Good or Bad?

Robert -

I had the same experience with my first car - '57 150 Business Coupe 283 2-bbl. After NHRA outlawed the four speed, I tried a three speed. Spent a lot of money on a lot of new parts and modifications on the 3-speed. When I got it together, I threw mufflers on it, drove it around to break it in, then one blast down the highway to try it out. The one blast blew the cluster gear out on to the street on the one two shift.
