Um..... they don't put a 396 or a 427 in a Dodge Challenger!....... Yet. Jim
They had him listed as a 69 Camaro on the second qualifing sheet

I personaly do NOT like the"COMBO" class eliminations.......Going red in a heads up is a little diff than having to do it in a combo when someone else will win that is not even in your class.. That new idea suxxxsss to me.

Not to tough to understand. The vendors and nhra don't want to give out hardware and cash for singles. More racing for the fans without the shoe polish. Of course that means there has to be fans.

It's run like Comp Eliminator. Handicapped off the Index, first to the finish line wins.

It looks to me as if several of the "combo" cars didn't show up for "class" eliminations! Jim

depends on who gets there first.......without a red lite.....and hopefully without getting hp. So if you can get there first and can lift ,so be it.........Kinda like qualifying (lifting at the 1,000......lol

Just another example of how nhra is screwing the class racer. The class trophy and lunch money for the single winner will now be given to the racer who is willing to spend the most money on his or her car to make it the fastest car (on it's index) at the track that weekend. I find it degrading and very inconciderate treatment for those who have busted their *** to build a competitive race car. Although I firmly believe that Sundays race is far more important than a class win, there are many racers who thrive on their collection of class win trophys. This latest enhancement is a huge slap in the face to Joe Classracer.
