There is no rule for permanent ballast in Stock Eliminator. General Regulations set ballast limit at 500 pounds. With a shipping weigh of 3240, the CJ would have to be rated at 499 horsepower for the general ballast rule to take effect. That is, if the car is naturally 3240 pounds.

Mike, you are correct. I thought I remembered a rule being in effect at one time that the weight variance was a maximum of +/- 250 pounds from the shipping weight. Either I remember wrong, or the rule has been rescinded.

I think I did well in first grade math. It's going to take 2 hits at 3.25% for the stick combination and 4 or 5 for the automatic.
