I've found decoding info but what I'm looking for is a site I used some time ago that you simply entered the carb numbers and it would tell you what it came on. Very simple especially if you had a quantity of carbs to ID. Print it off and go make your tags so when you looked at that dirty old carb on the shelf you knew exactly what you had at a glance.

Try this http://www.google.ca/url?sa=t&source...sqA-QpN4CbxJiQ for identification info. It's not quite what I was looking for but does supply a good amount of info on Q-jet ID. Sorry about the long address. Doug

Sorry about that address, I just tried it from my reply and it shows holley info not Q-jet. I've been to his pdf file on Q-jet's and it is very resourceful but I can't seem to be able to copy the link. Doug

If you google How to tune a q-jet [basic] that will take you to the pdf it is 33 pages long and on page 12 you will find the start of some very good specific identification info. Doug
