Last night after some classes ran first round it was time for some food , adult beverages and mostly talking about how we won or how many ways we lost .This Memorial Day weekend is a perfect time to visit with friends .

Debbie and I visited the MASGA headquarters and we greeted by none other than "Uncle Buck" himself and both us were glad he could make it here as he's been on the injured reserve list for some time .And he felt even better when his partner (George Donhauser won first round ) - welcome back Ron ............

And then there were the fireworks - thanks to Maple Grove - racers and fans were treated to a spectacular fireworks display that topped off a super evenng of racing .

Got to visit with an old friend yesterday - well not exactly a friend - guess you can't call a car a friend - Todd Hoven showed up with Truman Fields '68 Firebird that I haven't seen in many years - he's making strides in D/S ..........

Got a late start because of a few sprinkles but the Sun is out and everything is honky-dorey .Round 2 of stock is finished and I wish I could tell you all the exciting details but after creeping in the lights and going red I thought it was best just to put it in the trailer and sitting for awhile .

SuperStock is on the track now .......I'll be back .

Doesnt Todd live in SOuthern Indiana? I think that is the 68 Bird that Roy and Mike Mckinney owned for several years before Truman got it back a few years ago... correct? That is awesome that its still out there runnin'... thanks for the pics
