Agree. Because that is not something that has been allowed previously. In fact I had an NHRA tech specifically take a look at my strut rods. Didn't look at anything else. Must have been a bad tip.

I know in the past, this was a Superstock thing. I asked.

However, since about a year ago, they allowed some of the bump steer kits for late Camaro/Firebirds that were not previously allowed, maybe. It would be much better than the factory stuff.
I would think that if you emailed Pat Cvegnos and see if he would put it on the approved list, it would be the best.

I remember some manufacturers that had "preapproved" items from NHRA with a NHRA tech person's approval letter. They could only use the letter for toilet paper later.

I would rather see it as an addemdum to the approved list or in the on line rule book revision before I would try it.

Just my opinion of course. I have had good luck with Pat Cvegnos replying to inquiries in the past.

I'm hoping at least in SuperStock. If the tie rods are heims then why not strut rods? I may try my Div tech rep. for confirmation.

Get it from Glendora, in writing, at least from Cvengros, if not from Bachelder or Gracia. Even the division tech director will tell you to do that.

Moneymaker Racing has a fix for the strut rods. Spherical bearings in place of the bushings and it is legal.
give him a call.
