For all those heading to Joilet today the U.S Coast Guard has issued a Small Craft Advisory for the entire Pit Surface. Please be advised that life jackets are mandatory.
Serioulsy folks we have gotten at least 3-4 inches of rain so far and its not going to quit for a few hours...the forecast calls for rain all day and more Friday..it is supposed to get better Saturday AM...but anyone who has been to Lake Joilet after a rain like this will tell you...GET ON THE CONCRETE!!! Day one in the books, no rain and lots of sun and warm temps. Track was great and the water is what is, can't change it. Rain forcast for tonight then clean Saurday and Sunday.

Sure glad I stayed home ( who beleives a weather forecast anymore) as I am sure if I had gone no one would be able to race. It would rain sideways had I gone. Good Luck to all. Jeff

Glad we went, the weather was great! A little rain, but good for the most part.
