Wink Re: 4 Speeds

I could go back and run a stock trany (IF) we went back to stock un-ported heads, stock block, rods and crank other wise there aren't enough stock trans parts left to run one of these cars. Back before Jerico came out I would have fresh trany in car, one in the trailer and enough parts to build one at the track and did that on a few ocasions. On second thought forget it I wouldn't go back for any reason I broke two Jericos last year so an auto don't sound all that bad. Just boring.

Casey,
I've cut low gear to line up with cluster,I have found a 9310 low gear,Thank's Scotty D for the info.
Larry,
All Liberty has for Muncie or T-10 is a few parts and pieces in storage they have'nt had gear sets for them for a while as far as I know, they do still pro shift them but that is about it on T 10 or muncie.
Jeff,
You had me concerned there for a minute,I like watching you run. I owned 2 autos my first and last, without a stick it's no fun for me. Turn it loose on high side chip and try to rip shifter off every gear is best stress relief I know.

Mike Taylor: There's a Liberty gear set for a Muncie on Ebay now. You are better off with a Super T-10 Liberty though. Once you have straightened out first gear, it should be OK. There is a place called S&K Speed shop on Long Island, the guy there is a guru on Super t-10s. He can make a fully sync trans. shift like butter. Use a soft clutch and it will live a long time.

Yea Mike the stick does peg the ole Fun-O-Meter but its dishearting when your trans mfg. telles you there really nothing they can do for you, your car is too heavy and makes too much HP. Thats something I thought you could never have too much of.

Jeff.. are you hurting a DR4-4? I thought they were pretty tough but also know guys who switched to a G-Force when the Jerico wouldn't hold up. G-Force clutchless is a different story and appears to be an expensive fuseable link.

I love my Jerico but lot's of good pieces available for a Toploader so I'd go that route if I had to. I'd rather run a lower powered combo than put in an auto.
