I understand your frustration, trust me. I've taken to calling our Super Stock car Marvin the Martian, because it is evidently an alien, it s green, and apparently it is very angry with us earthlings. We've been flogging on this thing since March. We're hoping to get our first really decent pass next weekend.

I am just going by what my son is telling me how it feels to him.
He actually has a lot of passes on the car ( NC east coast Martian)and he is comparing it to some of the other simular runs from the past and the seat of his pants i guess you could say.......Talking about heads-up and the rarity of it,well we are the exception to the rule. the last two races at MIR we had heads-up first round both times and trust me we were doing all we could to avoid it on the sheet but it was what some of the other qualifiers did that changed the ladder.(not intentionally)
