You know, this honestly should have been the best thing to happen to Stock and Super Stock in a long, long, time and it got totally screwed up.

45 years ago we all got a great starting point to race from. The introduction of the muscle cars laid the foundation for what we're doing today. But after all these years, you'd have to admit that they're 90% scienced out.

So with the new cars, we should have gotten a fresh start, something to build on for the next forty years. But whether it was corporate greed, stupidity, or something else it's not going to happen that way and we're not going to see those great minds figure out how to make these new cars run at 110% like we did the old ones.

If the cars had been factored correctly, this would have been the golden age for class racing with new vs old, highly teched cars vs development cars, etc.

That got taken away from us and look where we're at. It's beyond sad.
