I am not familiar with every different shield/blanket type, but here is an image of how it mounts to the trans pan. I am working on instruction sheets and video as well. ![]() |

Fred-----ok ---now how low does it hang down for say on a super comp dragster??? and looking at the video did I detect some movement of that whole rectangular tube as it is shifting??? seems to pivot as it goes thru the gears at that that angle bracket am I correct--- will it hit the track on the bottom side of a really low car??? it appears to be about 3-3 1/2 inches wide---that pan is probably a 2inch deep pan correct??---thanx FED387

The angle it does move is minimal as the pivot is towards the rear of the case. My headers are about 2" lower the the actuator, so although it might be possible you would need a really low car! Actuator is on 2x2x7". |

Altronics uses our own test cars to do all of our product development. (We have to justify the cost of racing some how!!!) Although, for this product we have relied on feedback from several respected parties in the industry during development and do have a few "test" vehicles lined up. |
