The Indian is the guy you are chasing, the calvery is the group closing on your *****. Thought by the title of the thread you were talking about weight.

Don't former world champs get in even when the quota is met ? I think that some champs wait till last minute so that all us regular folks can get in , Have i got this correct ? It doesn't matter if the quota is not met, certainly.

Yes, world champs can get in anytime prior to the Monday cutoff. Stock won't make quota this year but there will still be a healthy bump, more than last year even.

I can remember when H/SA used to be one of the most popular classes. Hard to believe only one entered so far. Verne, maybe you scared everyone out of that class.....

With all due respect to Verne I would expect a few of the G cars to drop down to H...one of the G cars is a drag pak you know and there will be more hitters get in. I'd be shocked if there are not at least 5 H/SA cars on the Qualifying sheet.

I ain't never goin back in G and H, course I bumped myself out of H. Those women in those classes, they will gitcha, no mercy, no prisoners. You might find Couch (DP) hangin on a rope somewhere. Now as far as the Indians and Calvery, here is my take. Used to be the settlers rounded up the wagons, the Indians tried their best to get them out, and the Military Horses usually got there in the nick of time. Nowdays, the Indians own all the casinos and are buying up the wagon trains, and getting the settlers to work for them. The Military Horses are monitoring the System and trying to factor the Indians and Settlers but the factoring system is flawed (that being nice about it), and the Horses are tired, and the settlers are thinking about an uprising cause they don't like the reservation, and the Indians are buying the Military. Gee. Too much coffee again.

Jeff, I am sorry to say my engine will not be finished until after Indy! George and I will not race our Camaro at the 2011 U.S. Nationals. We are hoping to have our engine finished soon, but really do not know when that will happen. Jim Lewis did everything humanly possible to hake it happen. We will live to fight another day.

I was thinking the same thing. It's a shame. Wish I could go and give Vern a run for his money! Jim
