That's a shame, when I saw Jason is entered I started planning my trip there just for the rematch. Unbelievable run last year.

I am pleased to announce that WISECO Pistons are supporting the Challenge!!!
Vic Ellinger at WISECO said that they have some Stock and Superstock pistons approved and are looking to do more. He is awarding a free set of pistons or a Gift Cert for $850.00 to the winner of both the A/Stick and the A/SA Challenge Winners! WISECO has some nice stuff and makes pistons for some other popular racing brands you have heard of. Check out the NHRA piston guide and their web site. http://www.wiseco.com/Catalogs/Automobile.aspx

James, I've been looking at my John Force open house car show entry form all week. It's the same day as stock class eliminations. This will be the first year I have missed it but, I just gotta be there for A/S this year. I hope NHRA somehow appreciates the ADDED value all the sponsors plus your hard work bring to the event.

I am glad you and many others recognize this! I think John is great, but he is everywhere all the time. There is only one Challenge! It is at Indy.
This is the 4th one for the A/Stick Racers and Fans. The inaugural one for the A/SA racers! This is a great program in that it recognizes some great racers and draws more into the fight with some great incentives. These incentives are donated by racers and companies that support us, Sportsman Racers! The A/Stick Challenge is talked about every year long after the race is over. The YouTube videos of the final between John Calvert's Tbolt and Jason McCormack's Hemi had more hits in just a few hours then any pro final from the race. In fact , that was noted in National Dragster! The exposure to give back to the Challenge supporters is real. The fact that people like John Calvert came out specifically to compete in the Challenge shows it works. Dave Casey this year grabbed his tools and got it in gear because of the additional support that made him make the extra effort. This is a great deal for NHRA, the Racers, Fans and supporters! Make sure to buy from the people that support us. Please mention the Challenge at Indy! They need to know that their support is working! That is why it works. That is why we get the support! Remember to share the link here with your friends. Thanks, Jim
