Well, let's compare it to my 230 Chevy, it's got a bigger cam, better head, better intake, I don't know about the size of the carb but my venturi/ throttle bore are 1.313/1.686. It has a much longer stroke but it's not going to see a lot of RPM anyway, maybe 5500 to 5700 tops. It uses a torqueflite vs. my powerglide ( I had my 'glide so right that I never tried a 200 turbo) and it would weigh 200 lbs less than my Nova at U weight. I've gone 14.0s and teens in U in good air so I think that your Dart could be a bit better than an index runner.
As far as being consistant, little motors need to be paid more attention as to temps, weather and wind than big motored cars but they can work just fine.

The 3 tenths index change killed the 1 barrel combos. I'd have to go look at my old time slips but I think I was only good for about 20-30 under way back when I ran the 1 barrel. When it's all said and done Marks mustang is the killer in this class and probably will be for a long time. P.S If anybody want's to run the 2 barrel combo my engine is for sale. The old wagon has a 360 now.

2.3 turbo. He has the record at 1.25 under and I'm sure he'll admit to being able to go a bit better than that, Or maybe not, LOL
