It is overcast, gray and drizzling currently, many racers are out talking and opening up their trailers. May get some dry time today. Cross your fingers

Thumbs up Re: at the dutch

Hi Jeremy. Yes Allyn has the Opel back and he's at the Dutch. He changed motors in the car as there were a few more runs on the aluminum rods in the old motor that needed to be changed. While Charlie Greco owned it he installed a new Don Ness 4 link, new anti rollbar, new wishbone, Penske shocks, carbone fiber interior, struts, brakes and a new SS header. The car was also front halved in 2010 by LARRY KING RACECARS. I believe it also came with 2 new Grumpy Jenkins 166 cid buzzsaws. After seeing it run in Epping a few months ago, it is one little "SCREAMING" beast. Sure is great to see the wizzard from Melvern Square taking another kick at the cat. --- Kevin

Thomas,

You probably have received this info already, your father got a lift to the track and has a good plan in place.

Raining again now and supposedly more to come tomorrow. Most racers are on asphalt. It looks like there are about 250 of us lunatics here - maybe more.

The track crew is out blowing and sweeping the track, but the humidity abd dew point are so high ,it will take a long time to make any progress.

Still they got a leg up on getting it ready if the rain holds off.
We probably wont be able to run much past 5:00-6:00 if they do get to run with this much moisture in the air and ground.
