It does not look like a 9700 mile car to me.

The add has a disclaimer about the mileage. People who have known about this car for years say the son once said "not bad for a 108,000 mile Shelby" My buddy called today to see if the car was available for viewing today and the auction company said "sure, come on over, we have about 250 people waiting in line right now! YIKES.

Obviously I don't know what I'm talking about! Geez...that's outrageous! Probably buy a nice AC Cobra for that kind of money. Or two CJ Drag Pak Mustangs!

Guess Leno got it so it doesn't matter what it brought. This will only help the value on the 68's that are out there and already restored. I'm sure it will end up on a T.V. garage show of some kind and they will walk us through the entire resto. Check out the S.A.A.C Forum thread. A broker from my area was on there making death threats to the Shelby pro's for calling him out on the cars originality. Man those Shelby guys take this stuff serious!!!

Not half as bad as the "doof" who "supposedly" bought Ray Allen's car for $1 mil plus then flipped it for around $250K.Now that's someone with a real business sense.
