$2,000 to win Jackson, Tn Combo - Nov 6th - Roll Call

It was a beautiful "chamber of commerce" day at Jackson. If you were within driving distance of Jackson today, and you did not bring your Stock or Super Stock car to race, you missed out. The track was good, the staff was friendly, the racers were smiling, the air was good, and the racing was even better.

Folks, if you are not supporting local combo races like Jackson and Bowling Green, you're missing out on great class racing, like we used to do 30 years ago every Saturday night.

We had 25 or 26 cars at Jackson, and 66 cars two weeks ago at Bowling Green, some of the finest and fastest cars in the country, with division and world champions, as well as national record holders. If you can win one of those combo races, you can win anywhere in the country. These tracks are paying guaranteed purses of $1K, $2K, and even $5K to win, for a $50 entry fee. You simply cannot beat that, you won't get a better value for your racing time and dollars spent.

I don't know, we went out at 7 cars. I think when we left, Edmond Richardson, Kevin Stubbs, and the two Autry boys were in. We had a guest with us, and a 2 hour ride home, so we had to hit the road.

Mitch Autry took his FJ Smith built Olds Calais to his second straight win.
