Stephan,
The late model Camaro makes a fun race car. Mine came as a roller "drop in your engine and trans and go". When it came out of the transporter with both front wheels pointing in different directions I knew it had turned from a roller to a project. Two years later, every nut and bolt replaced, new front and rear suspension, complete rewire and so on. Interesting to go through all the details that make up a race car. Not too expensive if you do it all yourself but very time consuming. Next time I would watch the car go through tech at a divisional event, get it scaled and watch it make a couple passed before the money changed hands. You can't build most racecars for the price you can buy them for. If you have any questions on these cars send me a PM. BTW, first time out I went to the semi's at the Mission Open where Phil Marvetz took me out with his wagon. Racing is still fun!
