Just a quick update everything at the present time is still a GO. Just been very busy at work, got the Flyer made, Radio Advertisment for Spectators ( remember those, guys) in progress and manufacturers are back from SEMA. So more posts shortly but a question came up as to who could run this race. ANY IHRA or NHRA STOCK OR SUPERSTOCKER is allowed and ENCOURAGED to come race with us.
All I ask is remember our time table is very small and I WILL NEED Everyones help and support to get this race IN and Crown our Champion. We have over 50 cars counted at present coming for the event. And it shoud be A LOT OF FUN!!!!!!

Hagen, How many cars are you bringing? I know you had owned three at one time and we could use them all, I based payout on 64 cars because that is a usable number. I am trying to Guarantee payout of $10,000.00 to Winner without all the corporate backing I wanted due to end of year budgets. So it will behoove you to bring as many cars as poss. We need 59 cars to pull this off, BUT if everyone who has 4 brings 2 and everyone with 2 brings 1 you do the math. I say take a chance bring all your cars and have fun!! and encourage everyone else to do the same and maybe second rd could get paid! P.S. FLYER states $20.00 per car and driver at the gate $10.00 per crew or spectator. That's all they asked for and maybe we could buy a beer or burger while there...And for the record more positive than negative phone calls and car count should be around 50 now counting 22 cars close to and around track with ALL the Southland crew coming. Looking forward to seeing every one there and maybe we do this again! Thanks

I will be there. This is the best deal all year even if the car count is not 64 there still will be a good payout based on the amount of entries. Remember if the payout ends up with 5K for the winner that is still better than a divisional. It should be fun!

Yes I agree, Come on and race forcast by the hour shows we should get the race in sat., I'm working today and I'll be there by 8pm tonite. I'll keep you posted on current weather and updates. For those that are there early I'll collect cash and get tech card filled out also I will try to run my car to help count. So I'll ask that evrybody treats this like a DIV. #4 "WE GOT WEATHER COMING EVENT", So come when called and lets have some fun!!

Well weather is not helping this morning,They pulled the plug for today and we will run the schedule tomorrow (sunday) same as today. Gates open at 8am JR'S 9am til 12pm then full show and COMBO RACE. I would like to thank those that are here already I've counted 25 cars here last night and at least 15 more not here yet. Latest update, some rain has fallin. Worst yet to come according to radar. I have tech cards, arm bands, Nitroplate and Southland speed stickers at motorhome for those who want to pay early. You must have a Armband and windshield sticker to run Combo.

Were only Bringing 1 car. Sorry, the others arnt' currently in any condition to go down the track. I really hope we get the cars, and if you count 50, then we are pretty close. I don't think anyone is asking for you to come out of pocket to make the payout, just wanna know that we arn't paying the same entry as a National event for less than we can take home at a Div. race. This Race should attract at least the 64 you need, and hopefully this situation never comes up.

Weather looks Great for Sat. so far, Still looks like apprx 50 cars. So a couple things everyone should know. (1) Pay gate fee of $20.00 per racecar and driver and/or $10.00 for every crew or spectator you bring AT GATE. (2) Come to my trailer for TECH CARD and PAY ENTRY $300.00 (3) Fill out tech card at my trailer (4) I will be against the fence facing track apprx. @1/8 mile before the BATHROOMS W/1968 White and Black Chevelle F/SA (5) Remember how YOU pay is how YOU get PAID. NO CREDIT OR DEBIT CARDS!!! CASH preferred, Any CHECKS must be made out to CASH (6) You MUST have a SOUTHLAND SPEED and NITROPLATE Decal on car to race. Available at MY TRAILER.
