Jeff,
what was the outcome of the tech deal ? As i understood it you had an unaltered part that had an accepted casting number on it , but was larger than the size in the tech guide. Did you put a smaller one on or did they accept the one you had and adjust the size spec for that casting number ? Thanks

Wow thanks everybody! So far the support is overwhelming, and I greatly appreciate it. Only two people have called me a cheater on Class Racer, and they don't even know me or understand the situation. I provided documentation to Bruce and Pat to look over at tech Wednesday night. It was provided by my new hero Jesse Kershaw, and it looks to be the only thing that will hold water. They said I would have an answer in a few days after they confirm it all with Jesse. So far looking good, and now it's just a waiting game.
It was funny when I went to the scales after the first run, Bruce was doing the scale and I told him "Hey Bruce I just went 1.08 under in bracket mode, which is .02 slower than the record run on kill. I don't think it's the throttle body." He just hung his head and laughed. Again thanks everybody for helping me get through this, and all the advice provided by the NHRA family of friends. I will let you all know the outcome as soon as I do.
