Not really true.

NHRA has an accepted rod list where aftermarket rods must meet specifications on the then-current NHRA Stock and Super Stock Replacement Rod Acceptance List.

IHRA says you can run "Super Stock connecting rods in Stock Eliminator."

They really don't provide any specifications to go by for rods or pistons.

Interesting. My answer to questions such as that has always been "if not IHRA specified use NHRA spec". Jim
