Are the manufacturers so short-sighted (and unimaginative) that they can't envision the damage that the AHFS can (and, probably WILL) eventually do to their phoney-baloney, unrealistic horsepower factors for these new cars, thereby destroying the "unfair advantage" they enjoy over the older cars?

Will the corporate money dry up when that happens?

A second question: Mopar hasn't seemed inclined to dip into the power-adder source for performance, relying instead on displacement and breathing potential. There is no doubt in my mind that one of the new 600-HP Viper V-10s will find its way into an "SRT-10" Challenger in the not-too-distant future, NORMALLY-ASPIRATED, no doubt.

How does that jibe with the "all cars in these top classes will have power adders"???

Is an extra 150 cubic inches considered to be a "power-adder"??? LOL!

Who at glendora is tired of AHFS Mickey? No one at NHRA gives a ***k about AHFS and if it works right.
When I was at Las Vegas Nats this year all the NHRA tech people could not stop talking about the new camaro.
