A flow bench is like a dyno, it is merely a tool to measure whether you've gotten better or worse. You must measure progress with the same tool or the measurement is invalid.
Flow numbers themselves are not "absolute" in any event, I've seen head with great flow numbers that did not run well. I would not shop for heads or shops based on flow numbers.
