Talking Re: New Camaro Stocker

GM cant build them in house like FORD did with the Mustangs . If they are built they have to be built by a second party , cost expected to be 175k . If they could built in house cost is 130k . Thats what the hold up is were are they going to be built .

Submit your name on the web site and they will call you if the think you are serious .

175k is a big number , then you will spend other 30k working on it

I hope they put the 427 in the guide at about 350hp for GT classes. it will be bad *****

They were talking $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 at the PRI. There was a lot of traffic around that car. Several familiar faces.....

Contract hasn't been awarded yet.

I was told the target price is about $100K for the supercharged 327.

Testing on the track is planned for Monday

It's still a case of if they build them, but I would say the chance is much better that it will happen. The Chevrolet guys are pretty pumped about it. They got a ton of hits on their web page and a lot of guys showed-up ready to write checks. From what I saw, I doubt that they would have any problem selling 50 cars.

You are right about IF and WHEN, Does not mater that the CHEVY guys are pumped up! What really maters is how do the BEAN COUNTERS feel and how much they would have to spend to do this project, it's all about ROI at the end of the day.
