I'm guessing that GM will submit this combo to NHRA with a 305 HP rating.

Troy, you seemed to have made a mistake on the spec sheet. The hp numbers were incorrectly labelled as cam duration;
Cam duration (deg.)
233/276 @ 50
244/255 @ 50
244/255 @ 50

is actually
HP Rating (net)
233hp/276tq@ 5000rpm
244hp/255tq@5000rpm
244hp/255tq@5000rpm

Although I do understand chev has been waiting to see how the car performs before it announces the hp numbers so weight can be adjusted to beat the mustang....or try anyway. LOL!

I think that GM has made it pretty clear that they are aimed at A and AA (and the new classes). They are interested in going heads-up with the Cobra Jet and Drag Pak. Not one person at GM has suggested otherwise.
