Yep, didn't think about everyone's favorite car - the DP Challenger.

450 512 05037714AB

It's actually 714AB. This should give everyone something else to complain about. Bigger volume intake ports than a Hemi or MW head. I guess I won't start looking for those Tunnel Port magnum heads.

Quite curious that they seem to have ignored the arguably bigger issue of a replacement for 40 year old LA heads? Must be nice to be an aged Buick, Ford or Kelvinator? Pete

Hi !
Read the storie in the other tread " edelbrock heads leagal" on how this 452 aluminum heads got legal. I started this with Bruce in this years Winternationals and he was very supprised that nobody mention this for him about this heads, mostley Mopar Performance them self.
Bruce did a great jobb on this when i finaly get Dale Aldo ( cheif at Mopar) and Glendora dodge to send NHRA a head. I was having the contact with Bruce and i talke to him in late April , And hi told me that we are going to make this legal and i whant you to be the first to know, because you did a good job.
But i can tell you that Mopar was allmost that the did not care, i totaly open the door for them, but the was like we dont care.
We find the 3 heads that was on the market that time, and i call allot off Mopar dealer about this and to put in order for this heads, because Mopar dont make them if the did not have any order ?? The did not make this head as an replacement head, that was my way to see it and to talk to NHRA about it. Thats why the are sold onley complett with 2,14x1,81 valves and springs and reatainers, That thing we have to throw away to start to make it over to a leagal head for Super Stock., I have done allot off R&D seens this summer on this heads and now have them ready for SS 383 and 440 engines, togheter with the Sheet metal intake for the Six pack we design. But the next step now is to get Mopar make them BARE for us , so the can be cheeper and we dont have to pay for parts we cant use.And with no valve jod done for 2,14 and 1,81 valves.

Thanks Peter PPM Racing

Before anybody starts slamming Peter for his grammar and spelling let me just tell you that he is from Sweden. I tried to proof read as best I could above. Thanks for the info Peter. Jim
