I am guessing that hiting 3rd and 4th gears (instead of 1-2-5 shifts) will make a big differance for my heap.

The best thing I did was bring my car down south it picked up "3 tenths"
and not one dime of new parts. Till last "week" new ring gear, pinion, spool. And one new turbo Action Transmission two passes. All back in the car ready for Gainesville next week. I found out many years ago that an electric water pump drive was worth .3 on my V6 Buick. After that it got tougher.

Well, the best thing we did once was kinda by mistake and it did,nt cost us any cash leave the sparkplugs out of the Trans-Amobile over the winter,,,,, Hell it picked up a tenth and a half first time out the next season. It,s sort of a healing process................
