John ran as fast as 9.01 in SS/CA today. Not only is this car the most beautiful car there but it was deadly fast! I was pitted next to John this weekend, what a great guy!!1 Jim

Thank you. I would like to take all the credit for this one, but would go on for days thanking all the people that helped me get here! This is a perfect example of being surrounded by good people.
I want to give special thanks to my recovering buddy/crewchief /mentor Mark Osterbye who talked me into and was supposed to accompany me on this trip. His assistance via phone obviously worked. And Jeff Tripp for picking up my end of the slack with his recovery while I'm down here. ProStart race cars for building a hell of a race car that could put on a show and win. Mike Bogina for a high horsepower Hemi Bucky and Travis Hess for show quality paint work Big thanks to Don Eckel. Also Dan Jesel & Steve Kutch at Jesel, but I Especially want to thank everyone down here in Division 2 all weekend, Jim Wahl ( I ate the spaghetti around 8 tonight  ), Ron Ortitz and his people for the barbecue, Chuck Wescott and the Weldon people for their barbecue, Art Leong, Denny Steward, and countless others for their help and hospitality...THANK YOU ALL! Arnie, bet your glad you didnt leave like you told me you wanted to do, lol good job on runner up. And how about the "Over the Hill Ohio Gang" #1 Qualifier in SS Great weekend by all Nitro Pictures, no Alkey, but oh well
