Toby,

I was listening live to the audiocast and I am pretty sure that I heard Alan Reinhart say that Scott Burton crossed the centerline and would not be the beneficiary of the redlight by his opponent since that is worse than a redlight under the "first or worst" rule.

Drag Race Central shows him on the second round sheet. What really happened in that pair?

Thanks and GOOD LUCK!

I didn't get up there in time to catch Don's first round race, but I barely got up there in time to catch Gregggg "Showtime" Luneack's first round wheel stand.

Well, Scott wasn't in his pit, but I just talked to Tom Turner about it and he says the car in front of Scott was smoking pretty good going down the track and they never checked the track. Apparently it broke a tail shaft housing and laid down fluid pretty much the whole track. Tom said Scott did a great job of driving to keep from wadding the car up.

The original ruling was what Alan said, but I guess since it wasn't Scott's fault there was fluid on the track they reinstated him.

Just another national event. Nothing new. Same cars. Hardly anybody runs as fast as they can. Traction is almost always good for me. Although Don didn't get a hold of the track this time. I will post his third qualifier when I get a chance.

They just called Stock to the lanes for their first round of eliminations. How's that for an update!

OK, Kelly, when you go to your next race I assume you'll keep us all updated on what's going on, right? No excuses.

I did retire, but one person took care of me last year so I figured the least I could do was post a few videos of him.

And of course everybody loves wheel stands, so I had to post that one. I don't catch that many of them so it probably is a one a one time deal.

Looking forward to your reports this year!!!
