I remember the basic GS400 400/340HP running around 15.00's @ 92 MPH.

All were automatics, I never saw a 4-speed.
On a Buick website they report mid to high 15's with automatic and 2:91 gears.
One report (current owner) is a 400/4speed convertible with 3:91's that went 14.64!

Would love to have that one.

Didn't think that style of Barracuda really belonged with the pony cars.

Charley A,

1968

A) Camaro, Firebird, Mustang, AMX

B) Cougar, Barracuda

C) Dart GTS

The Cougar and Barracuda could have easily been called 'Sports Cars'

The Dart GTS, 'low-budget econo-racer'

The Cougar belongs with the Mustang.

Dart and Barracuda should have been compared to the Nova/Phoenix/Apollo. IMHO
