If I remember right, that car was blindingly fast (for what it was, LOL!)
He won Stock Eliminator at the NHRA Nationals back when it was a nearly new car, and if memory seves me correctly, went some 15.50's doing it. I always wondered... with all the loosening of Stocker engine rules in the ensuing years, it seemed that almost nobody ran any quicker than HE did, back in the day... Anybody got any ideas on that???

I am not for certain but if someone were to be crazy enough to spend enough to build a modern pinto with the right parts you may get close to getting a 14 second time slip. There are 10 slow cars that i would tackle before this though.
