this is my dads car the day he got it home . it is the only pic i have now of the car with this paint sheme on it. i will try to make it bigger so it can be viewed better.

I have some photo's of the same car. I was certain the car was black but these B&W photo's are tricky. Anyone wish to add their opinion.
The car is apparently ruby red. It is the same car you see with the lab Technicians standing beside tinkering with the engine. The prototype car prior to being modified, sans single headlight and interior.
Looking at the wheel arches on the color photo from Jim Schilds book the interior is to be Tan, but interestingly the upper door frames are painted red. This would surely narrow down the search.
17 red cars, 2 with red interior. At a guess it would be the first red car released, early January.
