A short update - he will be in the rehabilitation unit for one more week. They want to keep the momentum going, and we agree.

Thank you again for all the prayers, cards, emails and well wishes. The support from our racer family is an undeniable large piece of his continued recovery. I cannot express my sincere gratitude strongly enough!!!!

Goal for us right now: be at the Joliet Nationals to crewchief for Tony. Looking forward to hopefully seeing everyone there!

Beth,

Please give Alex my warmest regards. It has been a while since I last spoke with him.
Looking forward to good news in his recovery.

Beth, I'm leaving for Joliet early tomorrow morning. I'll try to stop by your pit area sometime this weekend to see Alex. He's a lucky guy to have someone like you watching out for him.

Get well soon Alex.

Travis

Beth,

I'm just a fan, but wanted to offer these words of encouragement: My wife had a stroke three years ago, and it was kind of "dicey" early. She went through rehab, the shots, and all of that.....and has recovered 99.99%! She does everything she used to, and her mind is sharp as a tack! It sure sounds from here like things will turn out fine...

Take care,

Bob Emery
