LT1 please---do yourself a favor.......I ran a carburetor class for years in a 96......I have back surgeries to prove it.....most ill engineered car to maintain GM ever produced for non EFI drag racing.......forget the tunnel ram stuff. Hope you are healthy enough to work on it.

Rusty is right. Hope your you g and limber. About the hardest car I ever worked on. Couple of hints:
1: put an air filter on it. Air is scooped up below the nose, no grill openings. That means dirt is scooped up too. I'm paying for that right now. 2: Make sure your headers allow spark plug access. I would look into Hooker if you want off the shelf headers. My Hedman Hustlers, well never mind.....

Some racers are even able to accomplish this performance using an antiquated fluid coupling device. ; ) While iI have your -Attn. Mr. Wright - thanks for the help last year on my wifes Lt1 it was a ripped open fuel filter that clogged 5 of 8 injectors. ---Trevor

Glad you found it. If your talking "deep into the nines" with a Stock or Super Stock LT1 on 9" tires and a torque arm, I would sure like to meet them.
