Again, no opinion, just straight up facts!

How can someone be complaining about having a disadvantage when they've never taken the heads off the motor!?! Do people think Butner, Skillman, etc. have done no work to their motors to run in the 8s? Stock Eliminator does not mean take a stock motor and run quick with it, it actually takes work! I don't care how good the V10 is from the factory, there is no way that a good engine builder could fail to make improvements.

My point exactly Andrew.

And I do not believe Skillman ran his "untouched."

I have seen both Skillman's and Butner's engines at Alan Pattersons' shop.
They have been seriously "touched".

Bill's new black car was running the 3.91 gear it came with and so far is untouched according to Bill. Maybe he's not telling everything but I don't believe he was just blowing smoke either. Maybe it was the beer and Lime-A-Ritas talking but I think Bill was being straight.

OK we are the fastest V10 Drag Pak Challenger - for now - back to back 9.24s with 1.27 60fts using a 2 spd @3600 lbs in BB/SA - but we did not win so it is not that important - still feels good to pound our chest - the East coast guys seem to do it - I am just saying - we have worked very hard and changed plenty - it s nice to be rewarded - thank you God
Special thanks to Phil Mandella (PMR Race Cars) what a chassis wizard - Matt Dean at GLENDORA DODGE CHRYSLER JEEP and G.E.M. and Robert at Hoosier Tire West for there support as well - we are blessed and thankful

We will test the 3spd soon in SS in case we really are going to get it in JAN

Ron

Come on - you got to admit - it does not leave like a "school bus"

Congratulations!! Hard work really does pay off in the end. It feels so much better when everything finally comes together!

Drop a 125# off that rocket and come to Indy. I understand the drive that would be the killer.

Looking forward to seeing how the 3speed will work out after testing and tuning it it.

Once again congrats!

Joseph,
What happened to the SCS?
Do you not like how your car fits those rules either?
Would a 3 speed help you attend those races that you were so passionate about earlier this year?

I appologize for the bragging - I know there are others already spending money we can not but we will keep looking for the best things to change before doing a deep dive on the engine and what not

Being the fastest is always short lived

We are realizing in these new cars with the new classes - it is about absolute ET - not how far under we can run based on our AHFS horse power

It does seem to be sorting itself out

Soon it will be the same old game - the more you spend the faster you can go - been true as long as I can remember
