I am really looking forward to this year. I am hoping over 40 cars.
It's great to get our community of owners together to share their stories and bond over the Cobra Jet's. I really think it's a treat for the spectators as well. It's an impressive collection of very rare cars all in one place! More details will come out next week. We've got some sponsors for owner dinners and I am working out a deal with Roy HIll to help some of our new 2013 owners get their competition license to get into the Showdown! If you own, or are a fan of the Cobra Jet this is a can't miss event.

I will be there for sure! I can't wait to get there!
Even though I'm waiting anxiously for the confirmation date so that I can pick up my BIW and hand over Mike some cash. Lol. Hopefully very soon. I have to brag on Mike@Diversified and Jesse and Brian@FRPP. These guys have been so helpful, professional and friendly with every conversation I've had with them. Words can not describe the gratitude and respect I have for this group of guys! I'm sure just about anybody else that has had the opportunity to speak and deal with them would agree.

This weekend Maple Grove had a small Cobra Jet Shootout/exhibition at their Fun Ford Weekend event. Drivers included Roy Hill, Pro Mod racer Robert Patrick, Lizzy Musi (daughter of Pat), and Bob Romanelli, with Lizzy taking the win over Roy. Also original Cobra Jet driver and drag racing legend Hubert Platt took the wheel for a licence pass! Roy and Robert are moving on to Milan then to Indy, here are a few photos.....
