Thanks for those film clips... They are really good, and I liked the contour web hosting site. I think you have some good cameras there, but still like that helmet view in Fillipones clip. Your microphone is almost as good to. What camera model was in Bill's Chevy II? Also, we missed having you guys at Cordova! Maybe a 283 Nationals needs to happen! The highlights of this race... ---Watching the TJ Diekema and Logan Wernet's, 1962 Fury entry win stock. This was TJ's first time win, for the always fun loving family. --Watching Tim Nicholson wheel the Cassil Chevy II, and almost run a first 9 second ET, with the 283 4 speed setup. --Looking at Doug Engels car in person, its the ex Warter Joint venture car. --Watching the 4 A/FD's from the starting line. --Watching O'Malley out laugh the Nebraska and Kansas boys. --Enjoying the cool weather, and having friends in town for the event. --Seeing a really good grouping of hot rods for a decent ticket price. --Team Skillman was very impressive, and I liked the supercharged cars... But I think the new mustangs belong in an Outlaw SS class. Come on man, these cars are as expensive as 10 wide and Outlaw nitrous format cars. They make everyone else look like the Flintstones! The race was all done before 10PM, and had few accidents and oildowns. A very smooth event, and perfect weather. Last edited by Don Sofranko; 08-13-2012 at 05:08 AM. Reason: spelling |
