I've moved cars one way several times, looked in the local trader paper where i purchased a car & found a used trailer. Doesn't have to be an expensive car trailer. Some of the equipment types with wood flooring are inexpensive & have brakes. When i got the car home sold the trailer & lost maybe $50 to $200 but always less than renting one. Most states will give you a 10 day tag.Just an idea that always worked for me.

Dennis,
Your exactly right. I changed going from Efland, NC to Paducah, KY to Burlington, NC to Clarksville, TN. The clarksville one way is $91, a savings of only $700! Thanks everyone for your help. |
