It`s also handicapped on the indexes and race "Comp Eliminator" style. First to the stripe wins.

Thumbs down Re: Combo class run offs

Awesome way to race!!! Just toss your wallets on the table and the one with the most $ in it will win. Seems fair to me..............

Or the softest HP factor, or the softest index. Money can't buy everything.

Bill Dyer was #1 qualifier in his SS/N 85 Mustang in the stick combo, a long time friend and racer from Miami. He is an every day working guy who builds is own motors, does his own heads and does all the work on his car. It is as far from a store bought check written race deal as it gets. He is a service manager at Reynolds Ford and is definetly low buck Bill. There is no big money behind that effort just a ton of hard work. Most of the time he tows & races the car by himself. I wish him the best !

That's a two edged sword. If they ran the eliminator like that most of the low buck guys would fade away, leaving a bunch of people with money to buy the best of everything, and
a few low buckers who can find dime rockets in the guide.Right Bill?
