Well the 305ci flat top motor in a 1983 malibu wagon is rated 253hp and can run high 11s in M/SA. So what will a 350ci motor at 255-260 hp will run? Your right Dean it would not be a good M/SA and L/SA combo, It could only run around 11.50-11.65 in M/SA which is only -1.00 to -1.20 under. I know I want no part of it with my 230hp 305 wagon combo and I went 12.08 in O/SA at Belle Rose a few years ago.

Dean, Sun has been great,,, raining today of course. I've been down for a while, dropped a valve in the car in early June, then a motorcycle accident in late June. Been rehabbing and building a motor. Charlie, I hope I can get my car in the 12.0s with the new motor and you did that YEARS ago......

I hope no one mistook what I meant. At 260, it will still be competitive, that's for sure. But I doubt a 1.550 under run will come as easy when rated that high.
My stuff is not fast and everyone knows it. And I'm used to looking at tailights. But I think there are a few Firebirds, a Ram pickup, a Mustang, and a Cutlass that run in "L" that can give it a run.
