I watched your video from the Dutch and cringed as you came down. At least your view of the sky was gradual. This guy from Cecil seemed to explode off the starting line with more acceleration than I would think is possible. I have one of the 2012 4.0 cars and after seeing this crash, I may have to revise my plans. I have been working up to these power levels with my slower car but something like that happening might make me put on the Depends before I run the car at wide open throttle. So far I have kept the throttle max 45 degrees at wide open and that was pretty fast. You guys have balls.

I forgot to add that my dumb ***** is installing them now. They would have saved me . Hoover I got out in time before it went higher . We had just installed the 2014 front end bushing in that car . It had never been in the air like that untill they were installed . Ford is refining these cars and the new ones should be taken very seriously when you get behind the wheel of one . They are the real deal

That's why there is a knob on top of the front strut. Right is tight!

I didnt get who tried to drive that car, was it the owner ? just want to make sure I never see him in the lane next to me. He made to many mistakes, probably before he even staged, I wont go into detail but most pro drivers saw what happened

Carey , I've run Rons stuff for years , but not on this car as the front wheels have always stayed on the ground . The damage was to the engine , oil pan was pushed into pick up and spun a bearing .

Even if I had Ron's shocks on the car the setting would not have been correct . On my other CJ we run with the front shocks all the way lose as the front wheel stay on the ground with it as well .

The change to the front bushing is a major enchancement by Ford , I did not know just how much better it was the stock , but I do now

The wheelstand of Ralph Porpora's A/S Camaro was quite similiar as far as how fast and high the front end popped up.
