How thankful can we be? No other time or place in history could we enjoy this fascinating and fulfilling sport! Thank you, God, for making this possible, and we praise you for choosing us to be part of such a remarkable niche in history! May we all be humbly thankful today for You, family, friends, country, abundance and sport!! Blessings to all of this racing community!

Cool Re: Thanksgiving

This is that day, altogether too few in number sometimes, when we give God thanks and rememberance for all He has done for us this past year.I know some of you have been through incredible hard times, such as what has been caused by the weather in the Northeast this past month, but if you're reading this, you are still among the fortunate ones. We're grateful for you, as well. When business is good, stocks are flying, banks actually pay high interest, racing is good, wins come our way, motors don't break, transmissions don't fail, life is good. It's easy to feel good during good times, but when the bottom falls out,it's a real sacrifice of praise to continue the gratitude. Such has been the more recent times for most of us. i still want to thank God for life, health, all of you, and our military personnel making extreme sacrifices for us here at home. Such blessings come from God only-not an entitlement, a program or some politician. May all of you have a great day and weekend.

Wishing everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving. I hope we all take time to count our blessings and be very thankful for what we have. Like others have said, We want to thank all our military people for their unselfish service. It's too bad that Thanksgiving is kind of pushed aside by many folks. My feeling is that all businesses be CLOSED on Thanksgiving and Christmas. Family together time that is missed can NEVER be replaced. I'll get off my soap box for now, and wish God's blessings on all the people on Class Racer.

Cool Re: Thanksgiving

A farmer had a problem with his family- every Thanksgiving day the only part of the bird anybody was interested in were the legs. A big fight at the dinner table ensued, and he reallly didn't want to have to butcher three birds for one meal, so he began a program of genetic engineering-make turkeys with more than two legs. Finally, the end result of all this selective breeding and genetic engineering was a turkey with six long strong big legs. He began having them reproduce, and the next November, the real test was on. They were going to eat one. After the holiday, the neighbor down the road came by and asked how it tasted. The reply was," We don't know. Nobody could catch it!!"
